Frequently Asked Questions
Power depends on the vehicle's technical condition.
Best results can only be achieved if your vehicle is in great condition.

More info about Diesel and Petrol Stage 1 or Stage2 tuning can be found at the bottom of this page.
Removals
We offer almost every removal service.
Our services include safe and tested removal of most ecological and auxiliary systems that commonly cause problems.
Note: Before using our removal services, ensure you have a suitable diagnostic tool – not just for fault code reading/clearing, but for making relevant resets, scanning live data, and providing scanlogs.
Legal notice: It may be illegal to drive on public roads with removed ecological systems.
✅ DPF / FAP Removal Guide
Standard Procedure:
- Clear all fault codes.
- Perform DPF force regeneration (engine must be hot, other conditions met).
- If diagnostics show no pending/active regeneration & no DTCs about soot accumulation:
- Flash modified file
- Physically empty the DPF
If force regeneration is not possible (DPF completelly clogged):
- Ensure DPF sensors and EGT sensors are connected and working
- Physically empty the DPF and erase all DTCs
- Reset DPF ash % or simulate "Replace DPF" with professional diagnostic tool
- Flash DPF OFF file
- Follow tuner’s specific instructions (sensor disconnection might be needed after flashing)
Note: On some vehicles, additional resets (oil life, diff sensors) might be necessary.
Signs of successful resets: no active regeneration, no white smoke, soot/ash values in diagnostics are nearly zero.
Followed instructions, but still having problems?
Send tuner a DPF scanlog showing:
- Soot, Ash, Pressure, Exhaust Gas Temp (EGT)
- Last regeneration information
- All current fault codes with descriptions
✅ AdBlue / SCR Removal Guide
Steps:
- Refill AdBlue tank to the top
- Reset AdBlue parameters – ensure no "No start in X km" message on cluster
- Flash modified file
- Follow tuner’s instructions (may require disconnecting SCR unit, AdBlue ECU, or NOx sensors)
Note: Most AdBlue removal failures are caused by faulty AdBlue level sensors. If the engine won't start or you see a "No start" warning, it means reset might not be successful and solution might not work well.
✅ EGR Removal Guide
Instructions:
- Install a blanking plate – block EGR gas flow completely
- Flash modified file
- Follow tuner’s instructions (e.g. disconnecting EGR actuator)
Sometimes, if EGR isn’t leaking, disconnecting it may be enough.
However, full blanking is recommended to ensure no gas recirculation occurs.
❓ Common EGR Question
"If I blank EGR, why should I pay for its removal in software?"
Answer:
Blanks alone won’t stop fault codes or emergency mode. Without software – DTCs appear. Without blanking – leaking gas causes performance issues.
✅ Conclusion: EGR removal needs both mechanical blanking and software change.
Diesel Tuning
Stage 1
Ideal for customers seeking better performance without stressing the engine.
We adjust:
- Engine Torque
- Turbo Pressure
- Injection Duration, Timing & Quantity
Better performance with the potential for improved fuel economy due to less gear changes and torque calculations, if you don’t change your driving style.
Stage 2
For maximum performance (still within safety margins), with less concern about fuel use.
We optimize:
- All Torque maps (calculated, optimal, requested)
- Injection System: duration, timing, correction, quantity, smoke limits
- Turbo Pressure
- Rail Pressure
City driving may result in slightly higher fuel usage if driven more aggressively.
Cruising speed consumption usually remains unchanged.
Petrol Tuning
- Turbo Petrol Engines: Good tuning potential with more likely the same fuel usage (Stage 1). Stage 2: bigger changes in AFR → more fuel used.
- Atmospheric Petrol Engines: Very limited tuning potential. Expect small gains only (with some exceptions: factory detuned engines might have much bigger gains).
